Speaking live on air on Sky about the situation surrounding Hudson-Odoi and Forest, Sky’s Matt Ford provided an update to the situation and suggested others are involved as well.
‘We’ve got a bit of breaking news for you that concerns Nottingham Forest and Callum Hudson-Odoi who finished the season very strong for Forest,” Ford said.
“We’re hearing three unnamed Premier League clubs are interested in signing Hudson-Odoi. One of those is understood to be a Champions League club, so one of Arsenal, Liverpool, Man City or Aston Villa apparently interested.
“He scored eight goals in 20 Premier League starts last season and he’s about to enter the last two years of his contract.”
There was always going to be a season where Callum Hudson-Odoi got it right and it looks like he’s finally got it under his belt with Forest.
Naturally, that’s now leading to more interest and it’s no surprise to see a club like Tottenham keen, given Ange Postecoglou’s preference to play with quick wingers.
However, the fact others are in the mix as well suggests that interest in Hudson-Odoi is rife.
For Forest, this is ideal as it drives the price up and essentially gives them a bit of an auction to oversee.
Let’s not forget, Hudson-Odoi was once linked with a big-money move to Bayern Munich, so the quality is there.
