This recurring theme of injuries has raised alarm bells among potential suitors.
Top clubs have shown interest in Neto, with Arsenal previously identifying him as a primary target in May. Nevertheless, the persistent concerns about his fitness have deterred some from making a firm move. Romano reports that Tottenham’s rivals, Arsenal, had Neto on their radar but were hesitant due to his injury record. Despite this, Spurs remain admirers of the talented winger and are considering a potential bid.
Pedro Neto’s football journey began at Braga, from where he made a significant move to Wolves in 2019 at just 19 years old. Over the past five seasons, Neto has showcased his talent sporadically, amassing 135 appearances, which averages to about 27 per season. Unfortunately, his career has been frequently interrupted by injuries, with a total of nine separate instances, including a severe knee injury in 2021 that sidelined him for ten months.
