Nonetheless, Tottenham remains a strong contender and is poised to engage in negotiations with Lille in the coming days, aiming to disrupt Newcastle’s plans.
Postecoglou is exerting significant pressure on Tottenham’s management to land David, reflecting his intense focus on acquiring a new No. 9 for the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium. Since the departure of Kane, Spurs have been linked to various strikers, but David stands out as an excellent solution. His career statistics are impressive, with 121 goals in 266 games, including 84 goals in 183 appearances for Lille.
