It’s entirely possible that Levy is playing a long game, waiting until the transfer window is nearing its close to secure Gallagher for a reduced fee. While this tactic might seem risky, it has the potential to be a masterstroke if executed successfully. It’s not the most likely outcome right now, but with Levy’s history of surprising moves, it’s something that cannot be completely dismissed.”
