Leicester City are reportedly on the verge of securing a deal with Tottenham Hotspur to acquire midfielder Oliver Skipp. Despite grappling with some Financial Fair Play (FFP) issues, the Foxes have been highly active in the summer transfer window, determined to strengthen their squad with a series of new signings over the coming weeks.
Under the guidance of Steve Cooper, Leicester has already reinforced their attacking options by signing Issahaku Fatawu on a permanent basis and bringing in free agent Bobby De Cordova-Reid. Additionally, the versatile playmaker Facundo Buonanotte has joined the club on loan from Brighton. Now, with the recent sale of Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall to Chelsea, Leicester is focusing on upgrading their midfield. According to The Athletic, the Foxes have agreed with Spurs for the permanent transfer of the 23-year-old Skipp, who is expected to undergo his medical examination today (Sunday).

With the deal now seemingly imminent, Tottenham’s No. 4 looks set to have his future resolved within the next few days.
