Beyond his superior goal contributions, Solomon also represents a far more cost-effective option. At just £60k-per-week, his wages are over £100k less than Werner’s, freeing up valuable financial resources for Spurs to strengthen in other areas.
While Solomon may not immediately become Tottenham’s first-choice left-winger, he has shown enough this season to suggest that he could be one of the first names on the bench, offering much-needed depth and impact off the bench—something Werner has failed to provide.
