According to TEAMtalk, the Serie A giants are willing to offload the Serbian forward for just £12.9 million (€15 million)—less than half of his previous valuation—as they look to avoid losing him on a free transfer next year.
Vlahovic’s current contract with Juventus is set to expire at the end of the 2025/26 season. As such, he would be eligible to negotiate a pre-contract agreement with foreign clubs as early as January 2026. Faced with that looming deadline, Juventus are ready to cash in now rather than risk losing the player for nothing in 12 months’ time.
From Star Signing to Sell-Off: Juve Lower Vlahovic’s Price
Once valued at around £26 million (€30 million), Vlahovic’s market worth has dropped due to a combination of factors—primarily his massive wage demands and underwhelming performances since joining Juventus from Fiorentina in January 2022. The 25-year-old striker is currently earning a reported £315,000 per week (via Capology), a figure that is proving to be a stumbling block for many potential suitors.
Juventus are also actively pursuing a permanent deal for Randal Kolo Muani, who spent the latter half of last season on loan at the Allianz Stadium. Offloading Vlahovic would not only raise funds but also free up space on the wage bill to accommodate Muani’s arrival.
Aston Villa Eyeing Striking Reinforcements
Unai Emery is believed to be keen on reinforcing his attacking options at Villa Park ahead of the new season, especially with Ollie Watkins attracting heavy interest from clubs including Manchester United, who are said to value the England international at around £60 million. Should Watkins be lured away, Villa may look to pounce on the cut-price opportunity to bring Vlahovic to the Premier League.
Despite his struggles in Turin, Vlahovic remains a striker with considerable pedigree. He built a formidable reputation at Fiorentina, scoring 49 goals in 108 appearances, which earned him his big-money move to Juventus. While he hasn’t quite hit the same heights in black and white, his numbers remain respectable, with 10 goals and four assists in 29 Serie A appearances last season.
