The 16-year-old forward, born in Glasgow, has been on Celtic’s books since the age of six and is considered one of the most promising attackers in his age group. Last season, he netted an impressive 15 goals for Celtic’s Under-16 side, showcasing his eye for goal and versatility across the frontline. Comfortable both as a central striker and operating from the right wing, Glancy offers the kind of adaptability Spurs value in their academy prospects.
In a statement, Tottenham confirmed that Glancy has joined as a first-year scholar and will link up with the Under-18s squad, joining 11 other scholars who were announced earlier this summer.

Glancy will be eligible to sign professional terms once he turns 17, provided he continues to impress in his development with the youth side. Spurs will hope he can follow the pathway of other academy products who have broken into the first team in recent years.
