In the wake of that disappointment, Tottenham have turned their attention to another Premier League playmaker — West Ham United’s Lucas Paquetá. The Brazilian international’s future at the London Stadium has been uncertain for some time, with reports suggesting the Hammers are open to parting ways with him under the right conditions. Initially valued at around £80 million, Paquetá’s price tag has reportedly been halved to £40 million, a fee that has piqued Spurs’ interest.
