Speaking on TalkSPORT, O’Hara responded to the rumors linking Parker to a potential role at Tottenham, and he didn’t hold back in expressing his admiration for the former England midfielder. O’Hara, who played alongside Parker at Fulham, believes that Parker could be a solid choice for the North London club.
“This is a really interesting one — I’ve seen reports that Ange could be on his way out in the summer, and that Spurs are keeping a close eye on Scott Parker,” O’Hara said.
“I actually think I’d like that. I’d like Scott Parker at Tottenham. There’s just something about him — I’ve worked with Scott, shared a dressing room with him, and he’s a top bloke. He was a brilliant captain, someone who commanded respect and had a real presence about him.”
O’Hara went on to praise Parker’s managerial approach and philosophy, suggesting that while it might be a bold move, giving Parker the Spurs job could be the kind of opportunity he needs.
“Is it maybe a bit soon for him? Yeah, possibly,” O’Hara admitted. “But sometimes you need a platform like Tottenham to show what you can do. I think he’d do alright. Honestly, I wouldn’t be against it at all.”

O’Hara’s endorsement of Parker as a potential Spurs manager is particularly intriguing when you consider their shared history at Fulham. While O’Hara clearly holds Parker in high regard, their time together on the pitch was anything but memorable in terms of results.
