The 25-year-old Ghana international contributed double-digit goals in the Premier League for the first time in his career and has attracted widespread attention for his direct style of play. However, Bournemouth’s £70 million valuation may prove to be a sticking point, particularly given that Semenyo only has two full top-flight seasons under his belt since arriving from Bristol City for just £10 million. With Bournemouth having already sold several first-team players this summer, their stance on Semenyo’s fee has likely hardened, making negotiations even more complex.

 

Meanwhile, Eberechi Eze of Crystal Palace remains a long-standing target for Spurs.
