Wolves line up £23m transfer for ‘very fast’ attacker, he’s ‘keen’ on Premier League move
Wolves’ 1-1 draw against Stoke City on Saturday afternoon emphasised the importance of adding further bodies to Vitor Pereira’s squad.

Wolves are currently the third-lowest spenders in the Premier League, ahead of only Crystal Palace and Nottingham Forest. However, to fulfil Pereira’s mid-table ambition, Fosun have to pull their fingers out.
The Wanderers have just spent shy of £40 million on two signings, and according to ESPN journalist Julien Laurens, Wolves could allocate another £23 million to Bayer Leverkusen forward Amine Adli.Laurens wrote on X: “I’m told that Amine Adli is attracting interest from Premier League clubs. Wolves and West Ham are keen on the Bayer Leverkusen forward. At 25, he is keen on a move to England. His valuation is around £23m.”
Adli was part of Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen side that won the Bundesliga title in 2024 and made 42 appearances in all competitions.
Unfortunately, 2024/25 was less fruitful for the 25-year-old, who missed 99 days with a broken fibula before returning in January.Pereira likes his players to be versatile, and the Frenchman has showcased versatility during his career, operating as an attacking midfielder, deep-lying playmaker, winger or as a striker.
Now, he’s ready to test himself in the Premier League, and he could act as the ideal support for Jorgen Strand Larsen.While it hasn’t been said whether Leverkusen would be willing to sell Adli, previous praise for the attacker explains why £23 million could be a decent price for Wolves.

The 15-cap Moroccan international is certainly one to keep an eye on as he’d cover several positions in Pereira’s squad if he signed.
