After a quieter period, Tottenham suddenly exploded back into action in August.
With De Zerbi demanding greater attacking quality, Spurs turned their attention towards Manchester City and completed a remarkable double swoop for Omar Marmoush and Savio.
Marmoush arrived on loan, with Tottenham holding an obligation to buy worth £50million plus a possible £10million in add-ons.

Among the biggest exits was Luka Vuskovic, who moved to Brighton for £46million plus £4million in add-ons.
Cristian Romero also left for Atletico Madrid in a deal worth £34.2million including add-ons, while Djed Spence joined Inter Milan for £30million including add-ons.
